About Me

My first encounter with a camera was when I was 15 and I borrowed my dad’s Kodak retina 3B. From then on, I had the bug. My work years also involved me in using cameras – large ones in the print industry.

As my hobby has developed I now (mostly) photograph wildlife with occasional landscape and travel images.

My photography has taken me to some far-flung places. From high up above the arctic circle to photograph the Aurora Borealis and polar bears, to Canada and Scandinavia to photograph whales and bears and other indigenous wildlife, to the southern hemisphere to photograph penguins and keas.

Closer to home I have focused on the varied wildlife the UK has to offer.
