The Natural World in Focus
About Me
Meet David – Photographer of wildlife and landscapes from across the world
I travel the world looking for images that inspire and capture moments for others to see.
I have taken photographs of nature and landscapes in some far-flung places, including:
• the Aurora Borealis and polar bears above the Arctic Circle,
• whales and bears and other indigenous wildlife in Canada and Scandinavia,
• penguins and keas in the southern hemisphere, and
• sloths and birds in Central America.
Closer to home, I have focused on the varied wildlife the UK has to offer.
I have planned trips to photograph:
• tigers in India,
• safari wildlife in Kenya, and
• wolves in Yellowstone in America.
You’ll be able to see my latest images on my Instagram and Facebook pages.
My background
My photography is a hobby which first started when I was 15 when I borrowed my dad’s Kodak retina 3B. In my work, I used cameras in the print industry, where I learnt my skills, photography knowledge, composure, and keen eye for attention to detail.
My equipment
I love being able to capture images with my state-of-the-art Nikon equipment.
My recent press coverage
The Times, The Guardian, The Daily Star and Le Nouvel Obs in France have all featured some of my images.
